SERVICING BRITISH TENNIS

THE LTA IS DELIVERING HIGH QUALITY SUPPORT TO IMPROVE PEOPLE'S EXPERIENCE OF BRITISH TENNIS WHETHER YOU ARE INVOLVED IN THE GAME ALREADY, NEW TO THE SPORT, OR WORKING IN BRITISH TENNISWe want everyone to enjoy their experience of tennis whether it's playing, coaching, watching or officiating. The quality of experience will be a significant factor in retaining those already involved and attracting new people to tennis.Ensuring these people have access to support, guidance and information that will help them in whichever area of the sport they are interested in is essential if real growth is to be seen.Much of the work in this area is carried out behind the scenes by the team at the National Tennis Centre ensuring the right administrative foundations are in place on which other areas of the business can build. This includes essential things like the dedicated customer service team (the Services Hub), child safety and legal advice for coaches and clubs.Technology 2011 has also seen real progress on the technology side of the business, keeping pace with the continually evolving demands of the market by making administration easier for everyone involved. An example of this is the new British Tennis Members area, accessible via the LTA website that is offering an improved service to many different types of tennis people including players, parents, coaches and club managers. The new area is targeted at delivering personalised tools and content to tennis people making their experience faster, simpler and more enjoyable.Servicing the LTA's commercial partners is another important area of work, ensuring they get the most from their investment and involvement in the sport. This year has seen the fourth successive increase in commercial revenues, a reflection of the work that has been done to provide these partners with a great experience.Servicing British tennis will continue to play a vital part in growing and sustaining the sport over the coming years as the LTA focuses on providing tennis people with a great quality of experience that keeps them involved in the game.SERVICING BRITISH TENNIS£16.6MILLION(£16.7 MILLION IN 2010)This area of the sport has seen a decrease in investment from last year by £0.1m, the result of a push to increase the efficiency of the business.Investment in Servicing British tennis27
