A first of its kind nationally, the Community Down's Syndrome Tennis project has been delivering these sessions from the National Tennis Centre and Tiffin School. This year has also seen the AEGON Schools Tennis Programme extend its work into special schools, supporting children in these schools to develop their motor skills and have fun through tennis. To support this work a special schools resource and equipment pack has been developed with 500 special schools already taking advantage of the new resource. "All children should have the opportunity to play sport and that also applies to those children who attend special schools."304 UP FROM 107 AT THE END OF LAST YEARNUMBER OF TENNIS VENUES DELIVERING CARDIO TENNISDavid Stewart Head Teacher at Oakfield School Nottingham11 PARTICIPATIONPROMOTIONThe allplay challengeTo help get the allplay campaign up and running, four well-known personalities were recruited to showcase the benefits of tennis.
