He won his first satellite title in November 2005 and went on to win two Futures titles, one in Nigeria in 2007 and then the most recent in May 2010. Her greatest success came at Wimbledon 2006 when she came back from one set down to beat the then world No.14 Francesca Schiavone. She reached a career-high singles ranking of 99 in 2009 in a year during which she reached the first round of the 2009 Australian Open by right. She also made the second round of Sydney, the quarter-finals of the AEGON Trophy and the second round of the AEGON Classic. After progressing to the ITF circuit in 2004, Anna scooped three career titles at $10k level, the first victory coming in Nottingham in 2006, followed by Cumberland in August 2008 and then Felixstowe in July 2009. She has won 12 ITF doubles titles and reached a career high singles ranking of world No. 262 in 2010. Two months later, Anna competed at the Commonwealth Games in Delhi for Team England where she missed out in the mixed doubles bronze medal play-offs. Anna, who is based in Sanderstead, has played at doubles at Wimbledon in 2008, 2009 and 2010 and reached the third round last year.
