As a junior he played mainly in Britain, but began to travel on the ITF tour after sitting his GCSEs in 2002. He won his first title in 2006 in Naples but a knee injury sidelined him for 18 months during 2007 and 2008. 2009 was his comeback year when he won the Madrid Futures in April and made four other $15k finals. His three other title wins came in Italy (May 2006), Spain (September 2010) and Madrid (April 2011). His most notable achievement to date was being crowned champion at the 16U AEGON British Junior National Championships having come through qualifying. In February 2011, he was selected to represent GB at the Tennis Europe Winter Cup Finals in Ronchin, France which he and his team mates came home with the title. So far in 2011, he has reached the quarter-finals of the AEGON Junior International Edinburgh (Grade 5), qualified for Vasteras ITF (Grade 4) and got to the third round of the AEGON Junior Nottingham International. At junior level, Jennifer reached a career high combined ranking of 71 in February 2011 after a career which was highlighted with appearances at Junior Wimbledon in 2009 and more recently at the Australian Open Junior Championships in 2011 where she reached the second round. She has won one ITF title - the $10k Mytilini in Greece in October 2009, however it is in doubles that she has enjoyed most success. Jos has played at Wimbledon in doubles three times since 2008, and reached the second round the last two years. She played her first Wimbledon singles qualifying in 2010. In October 2010, Jos was selected to represent Scotland at the Commonwealth Games in Delhi and returned home with a mixed doubles gold medal. Then in February 2011, she was called up for her Fed Cup debut which took place in Eilat, Israel.
