GuideLTA Player Guide35>Evan Hoyt Evan has been training at Reed's School Tennis Academy in Surrey since 2007. He is from Llanelli in South Wales and speaks Welsh fluently, although he was born in Mexico. Evan began playing tennis at the age of 4 and has achieved some notable landmarks; he was part of the GB Summer Cup team which finished runners up in the final in le Touquet, France. As a result, the GB team qualified for the Junior Davis Cup in Mexico where they finished fourth despite the whole team being a year young. Last summer, Evan reached two Grade 2 Tennis Europe U16 finals in Slovenia and won a doubles title there as well. 36LTA Player GuideLTA >Ross HutchinsRoss is one of Britain's leading doubles players. In 2005 he won a Futures title in Bolton and made his Grand Slam debut at Wimbledon. He went one round better the following year at Wimbledon and also captured three Challenger doubles titles. In March 2007 he made the decision to concentrate fully on doubles and broke into the top 100 in June whilst also reaching his maiden ATP final at Nottingham. 2008 was his real breakthrough season - he won one ATP doubles title in Beijing and made two finals in Moscow and Lyon. Ross has played at all four Grand Slams with his best result coming in 2008 at Roland Garros when he reached the third round. In the same year he also advanced to the quarter-finals in Indian Wells and Miami. In 2009 Ross made two semi-finals (Marseille and San Jose) and the quarter-finals of Indian Wells, Miami and Madrid. Ross has played in four Davis Cup ties making his debut in 2008 against Argentina and won a silver medal in the men's doubles at the 2010 Commonwealth Games.
