Choosing your films and events Finding films and events EIFF films and events are listed alphabetically andbelong to sections which are colour coded for easyidentification. More information on sections can befound in the Index on pages 6 and 7 of this brochure.Calendar At the back of this brochure is a day-by-daycalendar to help you to choose films by timeor day of the week.ClassificationMost EIFF films do not hold a rating certificate (i.e.PG, 15, 18) at the time of screening. The nature of allfilms is conveyed in the A-Z Section. If in doubt, phonethe box office on 0131 623 8030 for advice.Film / event length Running times are included at the top of eachprogramme entry. However, many EIFF films caninclude an introduction and Q&A which are notincluded in the running times, so bear this in mindwhen booking. If a short film is being shown with a feature, this will be mentioned in the film entry.2. Booking your tickets The EIFF Box Office opens at 10:00 on Wednesday 18May for Filmhouse Members only. Wednesday 18 Mayand Thursday 19 May are advanced ticket booking daysfor Filmhouse Members only. Tickets bought after this date can be collected from the EIFF Box Offices at Filmhouse and Festivalhouse@Teviot until 30 minutes before the event/screening begins (see opening times above). After this, they will be held for collection at the venue of the screening/event until 10 minutes beforescheduled start time. Tickets can be purchased in person at our box offices right up to their start time, provided the event is not sold out. If an event has sold out, tickets may be available on a stand-by basis. There is a Stand-By queue at each box office for this purpose.Ticket refundsWe do not refund tickets except in the case ofcancellation.
