In the second year you will start to develop an understanding of the wider aspects of automotive technologies. Self-initiated assignments will be agreed with your tutor to help you develop your portfolio. A professional and personnel practice unit will give you the business knowledge, understanding and skills to work in the automotive industries. Your final project, centring on a specific area of automotive technology will conclude the programme.How will I be taught?You will be taught by highly enthusiastic, qualified and industry experienced lecturers through a mix of:. Visits to automotive companiesWe also have an established guest lecture programme of key automotive partnering company's personnel. You will also have the opportunity to work on work based projects with our partnering companies. In the past these have included Paris Dakar race vehicles, Off-Road Buggies, and rally cars. How will I be assessed?Practical course work is assessed at the end of each unit. If you reach the required standard you will be awarded a pass, merit or distinction.
