It emphasises the increasingly advanced technology applied in modern vehicle design.Qualifications and knowledge gained on the course are necessary for positions in the manufacture, design and service areas of the automotive industry. The college prides itself with its high level of automotive partners, of who cover every aspect of automotive technology from F1 to specialist car manufacturers. Mode (part time or full time): HND Full TimeDuration: 2 Year (HND)Fees: Fees: Home: £6000 per year max (yr 2012/13)Criteria for admissionThere are various levels of admission for this course.Entrants to HE programmes must be a minimum of 18 years of age and have educational attainment equivalent to 120 UCAS points i.e. at least two A levels (grade D) in the chosen area of study or a pass at a relevant National Diploma or DD in a relevant AVCE programme.To be selected for this course you will be required to attend an interview.We are committed to improving access to education for those without formal qualifications. We will consider applicants who can show evidence of prior learning, or work experience that is equivalent to the required formal qualifications and applicants with qualifications equivalent to the ones stated above. All students' equivalent skills will be assessed against the courses accreditation of prior experiential learning (APEL) scheme.
