You could gain a BTEC Level 1 Diploma in Vocational Studies which is equivalent to 4 GCSEs grade D - G. In addition you can develop your personal skills and confidence, as well as gaining important knowledge and work skills. Horizons is a stepping stone to further study and there are no formal qualifications needed to join the course. You can choose from Business; IT; Working with the Public; Sports or Construction. Full-time Day 1 year RGProgression Pathways: these National Open College Network courses (NOCN) are suitable if you wish to improve your basic skills and gain the necessary qualifications for employment or Further Education.
