We can do better than that. But your chosen Journey may not include something you particularly wanted to see or do. Although your group holiday has a self-contained fixed itinerary, we offer extensions you can add before or after which may well fill the gap. These are not escorted by your tour leader; rather, where appropriate, they will be led by English-speaking local guides, often with a relevant specialism. On pages 72-77 of this brochure are some suggestions of add-ons which fit with our Journeys. This selection is by no means exhaustive, so if you can't see what you are looking for, look at the group or tailor-made pages of our website or ask us.Yet more group holidays from Journey Latin America In addition to the holidays flagged up in this brochure, you will find other Journeys featured uniquely on our website. In 2010 and 2011 Chris Parrott and Brian Williams, Journey Latin America's founders, personally led adventurous trail-blazing trips to The Guianas and Patagonia which were much sought after and successful. We may celebrate a cultural or historic anniversary with a one-off journey or invite an expert or author to lead a specialist trip. He has a vast store of knowledge and is one of theteam who has won the Wanderlust Travel Quiz for JLA.Joaquin Dedomenici Having grown up in his native Argentina, where he graduated with a degree in law , he worked for a couple of years there in the legal profession. But the urge to travel got too much for him and he set off on his extensive travels throughout Latin America and the USA before joining us in January 2007. A big sports fan, he particularly loves rugby, riding and trekking.Nicola Gude After spending time living in Mexico and Peru, Nicola joined the Journey Latin America office team, but soon returned to Latin America as one of our tour leaders. She led tours all over the continent for two years, and then returned to the London office with exceptional ground knowledge and first-hand experience, and continues to lead the odd tour for us. A Devonian, she loves camping, cycling and long walks beside the sea.Natalie PaivaNatalie is half Brazilian and half Colombian, speaks Spanish and Portuguese fluently and brings a strong Latin American flavour to our team (and a lot of delicious cakes).
