For course information call 020 8090 3020 Related Learning for 14 - 16 year olds /Compass ProgrammeTraining ProgrammesWork Related Learning Programme (for 14-16 year olds)This programme is for young people who are in full-time education at secondary school or receiving education via an alternative route. All of the courses we offer are accredited by national awarding bodies and are perfect if you enjoy doing practical tasks. Through our fantastic relationships with local schools, young learners have the opportunity to come to the College one day a week as part of their vocational training. For a place on this programme you must be referred to us by your school, so please speak to your parents or guardians and your teacher.Courses include:l Construction and the Built Environmentl Motor Vehicle Studiesl Childcare l Motorcyclel Health and Beautyl Public Services l EngineeringYoung Apprenticeship ProgrammeThis Programme is for learners aged 14-16 and combines school-work with practical skills and experience in the workplace.It is run as a partnership between Barking & Dagenham College, Thames Gateway College, the London Borough of Barking & Dagenham, local secondary schools and local employers.
