Keen to reflect the history of this 17-acre development, MD of Fresh Wharf Estates, Jules Hewett, commissioned our Fine Art learners to create mural designs for the hording around the site. Hollie Tatner created the winning design, which was then meticulously enlarged and recreated to fit the 50m surrounding the development. Jules Hewett was full of praise for the project, commenting, "I am delighted with the finished mural and extremely grateful to the staff and learners at Barking & Dagenham College who were involved in making this project happen, particularly Hollie who worked so hard on the chosen design and final artwork. I'm sure the public will enjoy it as much as we do."Hollie (centre) shows off her winning design, with Jules Hewett (left) MD of Fresh Wharf Estates and Cathy Walsh, our Principal and CEO.
