ADDITIONAL BAUDER PRODUCTS Bauder R333 Taping StripBauder R333 taping strip is used to tape over the joints in certain types of decking (plywood, woodwool slabs, etc.) before laying the vapour barrier (or underlayer in the case of a cold roof). The purpose of this product is to take up any movement between adjacent structural panels, whilst also preventing molten bitumen from running through the joints. It can be held in place with staples, dabs of bitumen, bitumen adhesive or self-adhesive tape.Bauder TA600This product is a polyester based membrane used as a sacrificial random nailed layer for application of Bauder RBM systems to timber boarded decks (close butted or T&G). The vapour barrier is dressed up the wall a minimum 400 mm. The Bauder Insulation Upstand Support Bracket is fixed to the wall using suitable fixings with its top edge a minimum 300 mm above the deck.30 mm thick insulation is applied to the upstand, held in place by the support bracket. The insulation is applied to the flat area of the roof, and the underlayer taken over the bracket to lap with the vapour barrier by 100 mm. The capsheet is applied, with a separate flashing to the upstand. bauder.ie38ANCILLARY PRODUCTSInsulated Upstand Support BracketsPart L of the Building Regulations for England and Wales requires all perimeters and details of a flat roof system to be designed and created in such a way that thermal bridging is reduced, and heat loss consequently minimised, in order to help reduce carbon dioxide emissions. This regulation applies to both New Build and Refurbishment work and reference is made to 'Accredited Construction Details' design guidance. This document shows that all buildings with warm roofs and insulated walls should have insulation applied to the inside face of the wall at roof level to a minimum height of 300 mm above the deck. This is to reduce cold bridging through the inner skin of brickwork. In order to make this detail both technically and simply achievable, Bauder have developed a unique support bracket for use with our bitumen systems. The installation sequence is shown in the series of pictures below.
